The Broadband connection we have taken for our office has proved to be more of a pain than pleasure. We are at Nungambakkam and have a post paid broadband connection with 4 month's advance fees. In a month almost 12 to 15 complaints were lodged for malfunction. Each complaint would be responded within 10 working hours. Often minutes after rectification of line, it would get cut and the next complaint would take another 10 hours to be attended to. The problem has been taken to all levels of management, but fell on deaf ears.

So, if you are serious about your broadband connection, be very choosy and the best method is to go by opinions of previous users. Also make sure that you have the opinions of people from the same area from which you wish to operate. I would gladly vouch safe for BSNL, which I have been using without a single interruption over the last one year in the Mylapore area. I case of an interruption BSNL is responding immediately and effectively from my wide enquiries.

I feel hathway works faster. I searched on net and found almost all ISps are same. So while selecting ISP consider your area and find out which ISP is proving better service in your area.
