This ad placement is also good , But I think two link unit at the top is not good , You can put one link unit between two posts . And the ad unit below post have different background color may not have good performance so I suggest to make same as background color .
But one thing for different site different combination works best so its better to do some research using channels .

You can experiment using different channels. From adsense reports you can find out which channel is getting more clicks. Then the location of ad / link unit with that channel is most profitable.
