What's the actual story?

People are fighting for their land. Even if they do then that's illegal as per India's law. They only can ask for better deal for their land. Though Govt declared that they are not planning for SEZ in that area. Still the fightings are on. Why?

Haldia is going to be a famous city in future because of industries and the resources. Nandigram is near to Haldia. So for any future expansion the people in Nadigram will gain huge profit. If they are fighting against Industrialization then that's not correct. Some educated people will think that why you are setting up industries on the agricultural land?

IN WEST BENGAL more that 90% lands are agricultural land. So you are forced to set up industries on agricultural land. Don't compare with rocky Andhra pradesh. Also i have seen poor farmers. They are not very happy with their earning from their agricultural land. Intellectuals from WB have been saying that left are not doing enough for the state. They have destroyed industries. Now who is against industry?

November 2007 - CPIM is trying recaptured the villages. Things have been happening for last 11 months. CPIM supporter are forced to leave their village and homes because TMC supporter / Bhumi Rakhsa Committee has captured the villages. Thousands of people are living in camp. Left govt asked Center's help. They tried to discuss with TMC and Mamata. There were proper environment when  Govt declared that they are not going to take land for SEZ. Even after that TMC supporters were not agreed to discuss.

CPIM have strong network and enough workers. They are fighting for their friends who are living in camp. They are trying to capture their own village so they can live properly. People from both the parties have been dying for the fights. So you can't say that CPIM is killing innocent people. TMC is equally responsible for the incidents. 

Now Mamata wants to resign from lok shabha. She is famous for such kind of decision. There should be proper opposition in WB.

BJP is talking about Nandigrams. What they and Narendra Mudi have done in Gujrat?

I should say both the parties and the Govt is responsible for the incidents. This situation could have been avoided by simple discussion. We don't like blood. If the figtings are on then people from bothe the parties are dying.
